Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the store, complete your order, and honour your choices:
• Identity and contact — name, email address, phone number.
• Delivery details — shipping address, pin code, and related notes you provide at checkout.
• Account details — sign-in credentials (stored in a protected form), saved addresses, wishlist, and order history.
• Order and payment references — items purchased, amounts, coupon codes, payment method, and payment status. Card numbers and UPI PINs are handled by our payment partner, not stored on our product pages.
• Support messages — the content of emails and contact-form notes you send us.
• Consent records — cookie choices, newsletter permission, and similar preferences.
• Technical data — limited device, browser, and log information needed to keep the site secure and working, such as IP address and approximate location derived from it.
We do not ask you to send copies of identity documents unless we genuinely need them to verify a privacy request or resolve a disputed order.

How long we keep it

As a guide: anonymous analytics are designed to age out on a shorter cycle; abandoned-cart recovery records are not kept indefinitely; and order records are retained for as long as applicable law and good bookkeeping require. When data is no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise it where we can.

Children
Seven Lays is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email info@sevenlays.com and we will delete it where we are able to do so.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to the store and access controls for staff. No website can promise perfect security. Please use a unique password for your Seven Lays account and do not share one-time payment proofs in public channels.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the store, the law, or our partners change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means you should read the new text. Material changes that affect how we use data already collected will be handled in line with the consents you have given, or with a fresh notice where that is required.
